How to remove 'you are visitor number since date'

I was just wondering if someone could tell me how i can remove the visitor number from the footer of my 1.3.5 website.

What visitor number? Do you mean the IP address?

I don't remember Zencart ever having that 'feature'. Probably some kind of counter mod. Provide a link to your site and we'll take a look.

The visitor number is write at the bottom of the page below the red breakline.

I would like to completely remove 'you are visitor number 3535303 since Frid 9th March 2007'

It's difficult to say as this is a modded zen cart install, but, take a look in the template footer.inc

I can't tell where it's coming from. You might try searching for part of that string (maybe 'you are visitor number') in Admin Tools - Developers Tool Kit

The good news is that you've had almost 5 million visitors in less than 3 years. Business must be good.

Thanks to all, for the help so far. I will continue to search on how to remove it. Ive searched the developers tool kit and google fore help but without success. I will post the answer once i have found it, unless someone finds it first and posts it here.

The high visitor number is mainly search engines crawling the site constantly, ive had at least three on their at all times since this site went live 20 months ago.

Thanks, that is where it was. I just deleted out <?php echo 'You are visitor number ' . $counter_now . ' since ' . $counter_startdate_formatted; ?>
