Can anyone recommend a good image editor

Basically, my question is as per the title. I need a image editor to upload my company logo etc and i was hoping someone may have some recommendations.

Thanks:cool:

Mike

I use paint.net (Windows, free) for simple stuff, and Photoimpact (~90.00) for other stuff. I have used **The Gimp **(free), but didn't like it much.

I can't afford Photoshop, or I'd probably use that.

I am not sure what you are asking. You don't use photo or graphic editors to "upload" things, or at least I've never heard of such a thing. Graphic editor software is for creating images. You can upload them through the site if the function is there or by using an ftp program of which there are many.

Sorry Rev Tim i never explained myself very well.

I need the image editor to design my logo not upload.

Sorry, but thanks for the reply anyhow.

Adobe PhotoShop is undoubtedly the best, but if you can't afford it then Paint Shop Pro is a more affordable option but still with plenty of features.

You didn't say what operating system you're using, and that can affect the answers you get.
