not all my downloads are available after purchase

i have set my shop up at https://www.djpault.com/shop. buying items and gettin gthru to the store to pay works well. after i have bought my download i am taken to the area where i can download it. thats fine. the problem is when i have bought 2 or more downloads. in the download section i only see 1 download. i have checked my files and the item listings and everytihng is as is. if i buy them singularly then i can download them. but once i buy a 2 or more in a single transaction i cant download all of them, i can only download 1 which is very annyoing. any help with this please?

the second issue is that once i have downloaded i see the count go down from 5 (i set the max downloads to 5 in the backend) to 4 which is correct. if they close the browser then go back into their account the downloads shoot back up to 5 again.

i need help with this please as this will cause alot of problems for my shop

this is what i am talking about. the success page shows the 2 products i bought but with only 1 download (http://www.djpault.com/uploads/images/success.jpg) and the history page only shows 1 download in th account which is also wrong as there should be 2 downloads there. my shop site works well up to a point. i can pay for a single download, go to paypal, complete the transaction, come back to the shop and download the product. thats ok. the problem is when i buy 2 or more mp3s for download. just as before i can go to the shop, pay for it. go to paypal to complete the transaction. head back to my shop. when i go to download it i only see 1 item for download. why is that? cna someone else tell me if they had the same problem? if so how was this rectified?

Don't know if this is relevant, but how long do you give customers to download their purchases?

If you haven't actually added the download attribute to the product when you add it to your cart, you won't see the download options. And, if you've specified a download filename in the attributes-controller, but the file isn't found on the server when it attempts to display download options, then it won't list it.

my downloads are not working because of this. how can i get it to work? i have removed PENDING from the order status and processing is the default. its still not working. what should i do?

If you placed an order that ended up in Pending status, you'll have to edit that order and update its status to at least Processing.

i have deleted pending altogether so how is it still waiting to be confirmed?

"deleted"? Why are you deleting order-status options?

i deleted it because no matter which option i chose i would still get this 'Downloads are not available until payment has been confirmed'. now its gone i still get the same notice. i cannot download anything at all. it did work for one instance and only for a brief moment. now its not working at all. does pending meed to be there? do you think i shuld bring it back?

Have you an URL to the Product(s) that consistently fails to provide the downloads that we could perhaps peek at? :smile:

As I said earlier, until you update the order itself to be in Processing status, you'll not have access to your downloads.

So ... go to Admin->Customers->Orders, click on the order you're concerned about, then click Edit, then change the order status to Processing, and click Update.

if i go to localization - order status and change that to update will ppl get to dl files without havihng to wait for confirmation? they already get the paypal notification. it seems to have worked now. i just dread that for each order i have to go and confirm it by going into each order and clicking update. thanks so far

No. If you go messing with the settings under Localization, you're going to end up with no ability to manage varying order statuses as orders progress through your system.

If you want orders to be set to "Processing" automatically, edit the settings for your active payment module and set ITs order status to Processing ... that way any new orders completed via that module will be automatically set to "Processing", and thus downloads will be available as soon as payment is confirmed by your store.

i have tried this same tactic on the first shop but it just doesnt work at all. i still dont see any downloads whatsoever. the 2nd one i have installed works so therefore am gonna go with that and just port everything over. less headache.
