Get rid of horizontal scroll

I want to get rid of the horizontal scroll. I believe the code I listed below is what needs to be modified. Can someone point me in the right direction? Brand, spanking new to Zen Cart.

You would probably change the
width: 1200px;
to a percent like
width: 95%;

but it's not possible to be sure what will work for your particular circumstances without seeing your site live.

OK. Thanks I'll try that. The site is not live at the moment and I would have to ask my boss and he's out until Monday. I'll be glad to list it. Again thanks and I'll give it a shot.

Changing to % did nothing. :dontgetit

Seeing your site live, we could give the right answer immediately. Without that, we have to guess.

Do you have a customized template? Is it from the Free Addons area, or purchased? If it came from Template Monster, we will have to see it, because they change many of the standard tags and layout elements.

You can often find the right stylesheet rule to edit or add by using the Firefox Web Developer extension. Its Information > Display Element Information button will show all kinds of useful styling tags etc. for any element you click on.
