Can't increase title length or make subtitles - please help!

Hi, I'm new to the forums here. I've been setting up my company's store with much success, but I really can't figure this one out: there is a limit on the amount of characters for the title length of each product, that appears on the product info page. I would like to know what code I can edit to increase the length of the title. Also, I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions as to how I could place a subtitle below the above-mentioned title, like in the case of listing the title of a book. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Search the downloads for the "Product Type" Book by moku as it may be better suited to selling books.

As all of this information is stored in the DB, one would have to re-define the record field length for this in the DB

You should have phpMyAdmin available with your hosting account.

Using that, you can increase the number of characters allowed in the title field.

Truly, If you do not know what a DB is you should be very careful about messing with it. Zen Cart is mostly run/operated from the databse and not the files. Files can be re-uploaded simply but if you do not BACKUP the Database before delving into any alterations you just might find your shop non-functional. Check this tutorial out before you tackle this
