Re: My templates page floats left.

Zencart loads all stylesheets in the CSS directory. Try moving or deleting stylesheet_copy(1).css. The duplicates may be confusing IE7 (not hard to do).

Deleated thestylesheet.css_copy(1). But the problem is still there.

Re: My templates page floats left.

When I load the page in FireFox I see this in the top left corner.... It is floated center.

I do not see this in IE, but it is floated left the font is huge and the right hand length is exaggerated.

Look under tools >> developers toolkit and find this

I think this will be causing the issue.

Re: My templates page floats left.

Be sure to read the tutorials/FAQs on using the Template Override System.

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Re: My templates page floats left.

My site page floats to the left.
This time I have perfectly observed the custimization process.

  1. I change the templates. by overriding. ( there was no problem.)
  2. I edited the header .php file for logo.gif size (there was no problem.
    3 But. when I tried to edit bookvelly/includes/languages/english/meta_tags.php when
    Iedited
    // page title
    define('TITLE', 'bookvelly');

// Site Tagline
define('SITE_TAGLINE', 'Picnic point for booklovers');

// Custom Keywords
define('CUSTOM_KEYWORDS', 'on line bookstore, online book store);

// Home Page Only:
define('HOME_PAGE_META_DESCRIPTION', '');
define('HOME_PAGE_META_KEYWORDS', '');
In stead of below stated tags.
// page title
define('TITLE', 'Acadame - from iChoze');

// Site Tagline
define('SITE_TAGLINE', 'FREE Zen Cart Template');

// Custom Keywords
define('CUSTOM_KEYWORDS', 'ecommerce, open source, shop, online shopping');

// Home Page Only:
define('HOME_PAGE_META_DESCRIPTION', '');
define('HOME_PAGE_META_KEYWORDS', '');
as soon as I edited and saved the file the bug occured. Immediately I didi undo the edit. But the bug was not removed .
My site URL is https://www.bookvelly.com
can any body will help me out?

Re: My templates page floats left.

Once again, as melanie pointed out, you jhave some junk text (), probably in index.php which may be preventing your CSS from loading in IE.

Re: My templates page floats left.

Unless this was a typo here you have a missing closing "single quote" in this line

What you posted

// Custom Keywords
define('CUSTOM_KEYWORDS', 'on line bookstore, online book store);

What is should be:

// Custom Keywords
define('CUSTOM_KEYWORDS', 'on line bookstore, online book store');
