How do I Delete the CC option and Add an Icon???

In step 2 of 3 in the payment process I would like to eliminate the CC option ABOVE the PayPal option....how?

Also, I would like to place an icon (for a visual) with all methods of payment accepted PP and CC's...how?

Further, if I update to the new version of ZC, will I loose all my previous information??

Thanks!

admin > modules > payment > disable/uninstall the cc module

Depends where you want it - Some have it in a sidebox as a banner, others place in either the header or footer

Not if you have adhered to the override system

Re: How do I Delete the CC option and Add an Icon???

Please someone translate the below??
I don't know WHERE these files are coming from.....
I won't to change my information module...........................................:smartalec:

Modifying Sideboxe Modules - /includes/modules/sideboxes/*.php

Example: You may want to modify sidebox information.php to include another link.

In your sidebox directory (/includes/modules/sideboxes), create another subdir with the same name as your template /CUSTOM, so you now have /includes/modules/sideboxes/custom

Copy /includes/modules/sideboxes/information.php to this new folder

You can then modify the copy to suit your needs, and the custom version will over-ride the default information.php in /includes/modules/sideboxes

You can verify this sidebox is being over-ridden by logging into Admin->Tools->Layout Boxes Controller. In the column, 'Box File Name', if the text appears in RED, it is being over-ridden.

Re: How do I Delete the CC option and Add an Icon???

You wouldn't be changing your "information module" (whatever that may be).

The instructions are clear. To protect your changes, save them to a folder that you create (represented by CUSTOM). Anywhere you see a /classic/ folder, you can create a folder for your custom template. You can copy the necessary files from either the /classic/ folder, the /template_default/ folder or the parent folder.

What you quoted instructs you to create a folder for your custom template in /includes/modules/sideboxes/, copy /includes/modules/sideboxes/information.php into it and edit the newly created copy to suit your purposes.

There's lots of information about creating a custom template in the tutorials/FAQ (link at top of page).

There are free templates available at http://(sorry, site offline)/
