Bug Fixes 1.3.8a

Looking at the recently closed thread

Sticky: Known Bugs (and fixes) with v1.3.8

and since I am relatively new to zen cart having only downloaded v1.3.8a in Oct 08

I am wondering whether I need to apply all the bug fixes in this thread, or whether some of the bug fixes have already been applied to the v1.3.8a upgrade.

Also, since I have already incorporated many addons, some older and some newer than Oct 08, into my not-yet-active cart, I am somewhat baulking at the thought of having to find and address corresponding bugs in the addons. hmmm!

The bug fixes listed in the thread will be released in the the 1.3.9 version and will also be included in the 2.0.0 version. You should apply the fixes as appropriate.

Only the few noted as such have been incorporated into v1.3.8a. Any bugs in community-created addons will not be addressed in that thread, which is for the official code. You would have to look at the support threads for your mods to see if there are any open bugs in them.

You may not need to apply all of the bugfixes; some of them are only relevant if you use a particular feature of the program.
There is supposed to be a rollup release (v1.3.9) which will incorporate all known bugfixes for v1.3.8. No date announced for this yet, though I would expect it relatively soon once the v2.0 beta is out, or maybe when v2.0 final is released.
