lol! That makes two of us! Thanks for replying :)
This is the only solution I could think of to achieve my end goal, but maybe I could pick your brain for a second and see if I'm being silly and trying to put a cast on a papercut.
My real objective is to generate a separate pdf invoice for each product - I don't really care about them all being separate orders, but I'm trying to use the invoices as coupons. I've got rl_invoices3 working to generate the PDFs and all the invoices could be sent together under the umbrella of one order - there could even be multiple products on one page, I just need them separated.
Like if a customer placed an order for 2 of Item 1 and 1 of item 2, I'd need the invoice to read:
Item 1 - Order #-1, picture, info and junk
Item 1 - Order #-2, picture, info and junk
Item 2 - Order #-3, picture, info and junk
Should I continue on my current path to folly and endure much gnashing of teeth or should I use my noodle to find a simpler way. I'm thinking that I can take what you said about the order class and apply it to the invoice generator's php. I'm off to Frankenstein some code!
By the way, I haven't posted much on the forum because I rarely have the answers to peoples' complicated questions and someone generally beats me to the punch on the easy ones, but I've read a ton of threads and you're incredibly helpful. I'd buy y'all 1,000 cups of coffee if I could, but for now I can only afford a couple (well, depends on where you're getting the coffee, $20 will get you like 3 at Starbucks, but 10 at Dunkin' Donuts ^_^) Thanks for everything!
