Well, what does the error say exactly?

If your GC error log (at your store) is empty then either it's not set to writable or GC wasn't allowed into the folder.

Your GC Merchant account error log may also give us a clue of what is happening.

I had similar problem google check issue on my site. By using your given code it is now appearing in the checkout option - thanks for the code.

I have configured the google checkout with merchant id and key using the sandbox. but when I proceed with the checkout it comes with an error. I think its about .htaccess file.

I really don't know what should I amend/update here.

Any clue would be really healpful

Are you using the same merchant id and key for production? If you are, that won't work. You need separate id and keys for production.

Never mind. I take it you are still in sandbox.
