Can't open to Valentines Catagory

I have ZC 1.3.8a running fine - https://www.robertensing.com

I'm trying to have the site open to my Valentines Day catagory

The Holiday Catagory is number 294 and the Valentines Day catagory is 297 (it is a sub under Holiday)

I have tried to define the "Opens with" as 297 and 294_297 in the "Layout settings" and neither will show what I want it to.

It continues to show the "New Items for January" and under that "Featured products" and under that "Upcoming products."

Any ideas?

Works fine for me in IE7.

I don't understand how.
Each time I open my site, either on my iMac using Firefox or Safari, or on my PC using IE7, the only products that show are the New products and the featured products.
When I turn those off I just see the upcoming products.

I want to be able to have my site open to a specific catagory and I can't even get it open to ANY catagory. :-(

I see - I was wrong.

Your subcategories aren't showing in the center column. Check the last switch (Show Subcategories ...) in Admin - Configuration - Product Listing - it seems to control that.
