Help! My site is gone :(

I woke up this morning and this is what i got when i went to my website:

There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you

I have no idea why. I have not changed anything and i have no idea how to fix it.
Can someone please help me :(

I have another website that uses zencart aswell, but that works fine, so im completely lost here.

I cant tell you what version of zencart is it, cos i dunno where to look for it.

Have you looked at the two configure files and made sure that the information is correct - especailly the database name/user/password

Where are the configure files? I can only find 1?
I cant access the admin part, so im kinda lost.

What does your host say?
Do you have panel or some other method of accessing the site?
URL?

I have 3 sites using zencart, and they are all on the same server.
This morning, 1 of them didnt work all of a sudden.
I havent changed anything, which is why its so odd.

I havent contacted host yet, since i wanted to try and see if it was something else.

I can access databases etc...

as you can see, the issue seems to be your DB ? so far, it looks as mysql server not responding

If you are certain that you made no changes AT ALL, then the problem is with your host and their server.

the two configure.php files are located under

includes
and
admin/includes

Ok the site is back up now, but i cant access the admin part.

When i try to i still get the following message:

0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED
in:
[select * from project_version WHERE project_version_key = 'Zen-Cart Database' ]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

These type problems should be discussed with your Hoster as they are in the best position to help.

There is probably nothing wrong with your Zen Cart but either a change made your Hoster or problems with their Server(s) is what is causing the problem for you.

It seems odd that you can access the database through the site... but not through admin.

This makes no technical sense to me - other than that you have resolved configure.php in the webhop, but you have not resolved configure.php in your admin.
