customized products

Can anyone tell me before I invest the time or buy the book if Zen Cart can accomendate customized products? I do not have a bunch of products to list. The customer chooses their designs and copies and it gets placed on the shirt. This should go into the cart then they can go back and make another shirt if they like.

I don't have many types of products on my site and I got the book and it has helped me out on lots of issues and tells of things you can do with Zen Cart than what you thing there is.
It helps with how to customize the types of items and how to help really sell the products because it show you how to make the product stand out and much more.
