Product image shown correctly in Firefox but missing in Internet Explorer

Hi! I'm a newbie and I'm trying to understand what I'm doing wrong.

I've installed Zen Cart 1.3.8

I've created a new category of products and I've added one new product; then, I add an image to this product through the panel. After doing that, I check out my website and the image is displayed correctly in Firefox 3 while in Internet Explorer 7 it's not shown (there is the little red cross as if the picture weren't uploaded...but it is uploaded!).

I've tried to look for the mistake for hours....but without success.

Any idea? Thank you a lot!

im not sure why this happening . also in Firefox , i noticed a image is not showing . some code might have been altered during template design?

im sure someone will answer to your problem shortly ..

this is greatest forum i have ever been in .. just give it a bit of time . and you will get the help you need.
my apology if i was not able to help .. i have my own limitation when it comes to zencart and many other technology surrounding this amazing program .

Have you tried to delete the image and upload a new one?
With FireFox I get no image.
When I try to view the image I get this error.
The image “http://www.summerlovin.com.au/images/1550.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Working fine in FF3 now

In FF3 the images always displayed correctly in my computer.

The problem is with IE7....any other idea? Thx...:unsure:

upload different image , this image might be corrupted , images with some problems , specially problems with information in jpeg header might not show in IE , but FF will work it out .

I iam new here, but I had a simular problem and it was that the image was to big.

The problem was about the image that was somehow corrupted.

What I am still thinking of is how it was possible that one browser (FF) could display it and another one (IE) no....

I encountered a similar problem this weekend. We recently added about 30 products for a new manufactuerer.

The prod images worked in FF but not IE, after some digging it appeared that our images were corrupt. I downloaded the problem images via FTP, reopened and saved each one, uploaded via FTP and presto working images in IE
