Draw customers over to site for payment

Was just on another forum and read this.

Wow, I just bought something from an ebay seller and they sent me something I've never seen...

Via an email, they gave me the option to go directly to their website and pay for my ebay order through their site - where I would also have the opportunity to add to my order from items on their website - for no additional shipping charges.

Their site software carried over my ebay order details into their webstore shopping cart....

Very innovative.

I am busy asking the person what cart it was on, or if he knows anything about it.

Just wondered anyone heard of this?

While this would be (is?) a handy feature - hope ebay doesn't get wind of it - they'll shut the seller down - some silly litttle "FEE AVOIDANCE" policy they have.
