Issues with flash and divs in IE6?

Ok, first off, if you don't have good cross browser testing software, get it here:

IE tester is great for testing different versions of IE. My problem on https://www.shoppingitonline.com is that my flash ad does not play, and for some reason the search bar and the navigation is dropped down and I can't for the life of me figure out why. It looks fine in IE7, FF, and Chrome. Not sure whats going on there. Any suggestions for either question?

no, we are leaving those errors. This site is a port of another site, that has an auto responder. When we port the new site back the errors will go away.

I read few places , that using swfobjec.js to embed flash , can solve many issue regarding older IE up to new version that requires activating flash before user can interact with it .

you may want to use this method to see if it help you with your IE issue.

But since sartor can see the flash in IE7, it is most likely that the problem is the known limitation of IE Tester and not the site at all.

swfobject.js works with DIV tags. i only mention that due to title of this issue by poster " issue with flash and divs in IE X ? "

On developer's site , they mentioned this script will works with IE 4/5/6 and above .. as such moving all flash embedding to this method should be better practise and since embed is not a valid html tag .. this method will not fail the (x)html validation.
