How Do I Format A Product Description to include line breaks and bullet points?

I am fairly new to Zen Cart, and have not been able to format my products' description to include separate paragraphs (it's all one long run-on paragraph), and bullet points. How do I do such formatting?

In admin, go to tools-define pages editor.

At the top there is a box that says 'text editor' use the scroll down menu wich only consists of 2 options and choose HTML instead of plain text.

The just go to catalog-catagories/products and edit whichever description you want, you will now see that the product description part has changed and you can edit your description however you choose and also toggle between plain text and HTML.

Hi, I am having the same issue with 1.3.9h

I followed the directions above and was successful at turning on the html editor, I modified my description and and it looks correct in the preview, however, on the actual products page none of the formatting is there. I did a "Shift Refresh" and the text will change but the formatting is not applied.

Is there something else I need to do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
