Missing files in upload thru Simple Scripts New install

I am brand new to Zen, and had Simple Scripts upload thru my host, Blue Host. The option to load the Demo wasn't there, but I thought it was a good install of the current version 1.3.8.
However, I'm finding missing files. Classic is missing some directories like Buttons, Common, Sidebars, etc. And some of the TPL files to modify aren't there.

I'd like to upload an entire install to a Sandbox test side and see if I can locate the missing files from that.

Has anyone run into this before, and does it sound like a workable plan?

Not sure what "Simple Scripts" is but your Classic dir. sounds fine. As it is the Default Template it does not need the other directories since they are in the 'template_default' dir.

You can use the Tutorial/FAQ link, top of this page, for more info on customizing and/or using the 'overrides' system.

Did the site actually install?

ie: can you see a zencart "home page"?

Files, unless overidden, are not found in a template such as classic...
Familiarize yourself with the overide system and creating your own template as one really does not want to use classic as all your customizations would be lost on an upgrade
