Weird spacing Issues on account_history_info page, bug? or css?

On my account_history_info page, the date and status info are next to each other with no space (see jpg).

When I cut and paste the troubled areas I see there is a "tab" in between them that the browser in ignoring.

As seen in a text editor:

As seen in the browsers FF, Safari, Camino (jpeg).

I messed around with the css, but could not move the above....so I hardcoded a   on the tpl_account_history_info_default.php:

All the <br />'s are addressing a much needed space in between orders which seem to be somehow related to more invisible tabs...

Is it just my template (Simple Zen) or is this a bug?

We can't tell anything from a picture. Link to the site? And in this case maybe a test account login so we can check out the order status without going through the process of creating a fake order.

I did some more testing and found the issue is due a long ADMIN comment field (see jpegs) I fixed the issue in my post above with simple zen template, I thought other carts/templates might have the same issue and had a css fix? my cart is not available for testing but if you want to see: simple zen's behavior click here.
