Cant access Admin after installinf worldpay mod

Hi Guys. I was so near yet so far.

I have installled the Worldpay Mod on my Zen Cart 1.3.8. Here is the link
http://www.mirrors4home.co.uk. As you can see all seems to work fine. But if I want to access the admin at http://www.mirrors4home.co.uk/admin I get the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: zen_db_input() in /home/sites/mirrors4home.co.uk/public_html/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 38

Fatal Error doesnt sound good. Any help please before I throw myself off a bridge...

Restoring files from the backup you made before you installed the addon often fixes such problems.

Prior to installing worldpay, was everything working OK... ?

At what POINT did this error occur... Were you able to access admin immediately after installing worldpay.

(Don't go bridge hunting just yet... while FATAL seems to infer that "all is lost", these errors are usually fixed quite simply. The error itself gives good clues as to where the problem lies - in your case, it seems to be unable to create a session ID for an admin login attempt.

Did you MOVE your site to a new folder or server recently?

Everything was fine prior to installing Worldpay. Heres what I did;

1. I downloaded the Worldpay mod.
2. Read the install file.
3. Copied the files to the relevent folders
4. Uploaded them to the server
5. Went to https://www.mirrors4home.co.uk/admin and was presented with the fatal Error.

On your hard drive, open the worldpay module to see what files it contains. It is likely that the module may have over-written some of the core modules.

Via your FTP program, you must now REMOVE all the worldpay files, and if these files REPLACED a core file, then you must re-instate the core file.

Look also at the possibility that you initially FTP'd worldpay files to the wrong place(s).

In short, you are going to have to UNDO the upload of that module.

I don't know if the module made any changes to the database (probably not as all you have done thus far is FTP the files to the server - dbase changes only normally happen with payment modules when you INSTALL the module via the admin panel - which you can't access yet).

No luck I'm afraid.

I have removed all the world pay files and folders from the server. Then double checked. (What a nightmare).

The world pay install file says No core files are overwritten when installing the mod.

I went to the admin page again and was presented with the same fatal error.

Is there anything else I can try before I uninstall the whole thing and start again.

You've probably somehow deleted or damaged the /admin/includes/functions/database.php file.

Do as DrByte suggests - FTP the database.php file to the server.

If this doesn't work, you may have to resort to uploading the entire admin folder again (via FTP).

Bear in mind that doing a complete re-upload, you will may well lose functionality of any additional admin modules you have installed previously - and possibly some shop-side modules too.

You will also overwrite important files, like configure.php (the one in admin/includes).

Remember, this problem is only with your ADMIN functions - your store is still OK - so the problem exists ONLY with a file (or files) in your admin folder.

I suggest you do this, if DrByte's suggestion does not work.

1. Write down any additional modules you have installed.
2. Check to see if these added modules necessitated modifications to the database. If so, make sure you know how to undo these (probably via a sql command). You may not have to undo anything - so don't undertake this process unnecessarily.
3. FTP the CURRENT admin folder, from the server, back to your hard drive. AND make another backup elsewhere - on another sub-folder on your server is OK.
4. Over-write the entire admin folder via FTP, from a clean copy of the same version.

I uploaded the original database.php file and everything was back to normal.
