DB Error Page on my Zencart Admin-1.3.7

Hi,

I can get into my Admin, but when I click on one of my product, I either get one of 2 errors:

1. 0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED
   in:
   [select * from project_version WHERE project_version_key = 'Zen-Cart Database' ]
   If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

or

2. Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

And my website, occassionally displays this message:

Sorry!
There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you.

Any ideas on what may be causing this?

The cause is that your site cannot connect to your database. If this happens periodically (rather than all the time), you may want to enquire of your web host whether they have been having any problems with connectivity to their mysql server, or the server itself.

You could also check with them the settings that you are using to connect. I had a client a while back with an occasional problem that went away when were changed the database server from localhost to a specific IP address.
