Re-positioning the shop so there is space along the top?

Right apologies in advance. I did search a number of times how this is done... 'positioning shop' 'space at top of shop' etc etc etc and nothing relevant turned up. :(

Also, because I don't know what issue this is I don't know which forum it should be in :/ I assumed this one as it sounded general and I AM trying to change the layout lol

I'm re-doing a website for a friend and she wants space along the top of the shop/the shop positioning lower so the background and wallpaper is visible all the way around...

The one at the top is what I have and don't want.

The cap of the lower is an edited version of how I want it to look.

How would you do this??? Is it possible with Zen Cart?
