You need to specify more clearly which part of the page you are talking about. A link to your site would help too.

If you mean the categories sidebox, and you are using the Classic template, look for a.category-top. That controls the top categories, and others in that area control subcats.

Re: Help with category font and size and color please :)

Your template uses the BetterCategories mod, so you would edit
/includes/templates/glacial_age/css/stylesheet_betterCategoriesEzInfo.css.

The rule that begins with
.betterCategories a, .betterCategories a:visited,
sets the basic properties.
color:#ffffff;
is the text color.
You can also add font-size:, font-weight: and many other properties.

thanks so much ))))
I have located that area as suggested below is pasted
.betterCategories a, .betterCategories a:visited,
.betterDocuments a, .betterDocuments a:visited,
.betterInformation a, .betterInformation a:visited,
.betterMoreinformation a, .betterMoreinformation a:visited,
.betterBestsellers a, .betterBestsellers a:visited {
display: block;
color:#ffffff;
background-color: #284683;
border-top: 1px solid #D8E0F7;
border-bottom: 1px solid #D8E0F7;
padding: 2px;

Re: Help with category font and size and color please :)

There are no font settings in the rule you show, so you would add the ones you want, like:

font-weight: bold;
font-size: 1.2em;
font-family: "times new roman', serif;

or

font: bold 1.2em 'times new roman', serif;

Re: Help with category font and size and color please :)

"CSS" stands for "Cascading Style Sheets", which means that definitions and settings for generic elements like text trickle down to cover all cases, unless a specific rule overrides the general rule.

If yopu want to use images in place of the category names in the Categories sidebox, your best bet is to install Categories Dressing, which is built to handle that automatically.
