Category Menu Spacing Adjustments

Hi,

I have two simple questions:

ONE:
I want to increase the gap between my products under categories so my products look more spaced out. I am very newb with coding so I don't know what to do or what to change....

TWO:
in my categories I want to divide it up into two sections by adding a title in between. For example:

Categories
-Blue Shirt
-Red Shirt
-Green Shirt
**
Ties**
-Blue Tie
-Red Tie
-Green Tie

Something like this... because they are different "types" of products. I want 1 product PER category. So when customer clicks "Blue Shirt" there's only ONE product.

How can I solve these two things?

ONE: adjust padding or margin in the stylesheet. But do this after ...

TWO: the simplest way would be to use one of the add ins which gives this capability. Have a look at Software Add Ons, link top-left, search for Category. I think Categories Dressing is the one you want, but have a look at some of the others there.

Oh and, is there an option in admin setting that allows me to take the (1) out for each category?

For ex i get something like : Blue Shirt (1)

I want to get rid of the "(1)"

admin/configuration/layout settings/ ... er, um ... I forget. :ohmy:

Found it, in a post from a couple of years ago...

admin -> configuration -> My Store -> Show Category Counts (set to false)

By the way, I did not find that using the forum search, I found it using Google with this as the search term...
"zen-cart: categories count turn off"

That's a good trick to remember. Much better results from Goggle than from the forum search.
