Help Need USPS International Shipping

HI

Well I was so close to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel until today ------I set up a test customer to go thru the motions of buying an item and checkout ----all worked great for domestic shipping ----each option I chose worked perfectly

However I then created a test Customer account in the UK and surprise no international first class appeared as an option in the checkout page although it is cjecked in the admin section
USPS tech support said its not their problem (((

Anyone have any suggestions ? thanks

A couple of questions to rule out the obvious possibilities:

1. Do you have a zone selected in the USPS shipping module? If you have a U.S. zone selected, I think that would eliminate international shipping. Probably you want to have "none" selected as the zone.

2. You have to select what types of shipping you want to offer in the USPS shipping module as well. Do you have any International options selected?

Hopefully, by the time you answer these, if they don't work someone more knowledgable will have come along. :blink:

Did you use a real address with the correct postal code?

And the weight of the order?

And the Tare Settings in the Shipping/Packaging?

I do believe there are limits on first class and if there is too much weight then the first class will not show even if you have it marked to be used ... :unsure:
