maybe im just being a bit thick but..

i have downloaded the zencart files to begin and i dont have a templates folder in the admin/includes file?

hi, think you are looking in the wrong place admin doesnt have templates.
try looking in /includes/templates not /admin/includes

when i open up the zencart folder itself the only folder thats there is admin, so the folder inside that is includes, should there be more than just the admin folder to start with?

maybe you haven't extracted the zip properly inside the zencart folder you should have 12 folders and 7 files i'm thinking the you only had admin selected when you extracted the zip.

Yes, there should be about a dozen top folders in the Zen Cart full fileset.

...That sounds likely.
