Can the attributes be set up for this?

We sell window film (tint) in full rolls from 20" - 72" long. We have dozens of types as well. One type in particular has three shades (charcoal, blue, and green) and all come in 60" lengths but the charcoal is also available in 48" (the green and blue are not).

I have the option values set at:

Color (charcoal, green, blue)
width (48" and 60")

How can I do this so the 48" is not available for the green or blue film (just the charcoal)?

"dependant" attributes are not supported in core Zen Cart. Some site have simulated the set up you want by using the stock by attributes mod and setting the stock for non-existent combinations to zero, though this is a bit clunky.

Attribute stock is built into version 2.0 of Zen Cart, and I suspect taht this new version will also see a resurgence of interest and approaches to dependent attributes.
