Help with New Product Listing displaying old products

I am using Zen Cart v1.3.8a/v1.3.8 and I have been trying to figure out why my older products show up as current new products. I finally just set the value to not display new items on the front page because all the real new items were mixed in with the old.

Is there some way to define how long a product is listed as being new? I had thought at one time I saw some place to adjust this setting, but for the life of me I cannot locate it. I have been reading my Zencart book until my eyes are buggy and I am not finding the information I need.

If someone could help me with this issue I would be so appreciative.

Sounds like you have the Admin > Configuration > Maximum Values > New Product Listing - Limited to ... switch set to zero (All Products)
