Please help a zc newbie with install!!

Hi all,
I am trying to install v. 1.3.8 to my server which already has a database installed. I can log onto the database via phpmyadmin using my login info but when I run the zc_install, I can't get past database setup! Get an error message that says "Database does not exist". "Access denied". I have a feeling I may be missing something in either of the configure.php files but have been looking at them so long I am getting crosseyed!!

my includes configure.php file:

<?php /** * dist-configure.php * * @package Configuration Settings * @copyright Copyright 2003-2007 Zen Cart Development Team * @copyright Portions Copyright 2003 osCommerce * @license <http://www.zen-cart.com/license/2_0.txt> GNU Public License V2.0 * @version $Id: dist-configure.php 6329 2007-05-16 15:36:56Z drbyte $ * @private */ // Define the webserver and path parameters // HTTP_SERVER is your Main webserver: eg-http://www.yourdomain.com // HTTPS_SERVER is your Secure webserver: eg-https://www.yourdomain.com define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.annieandco.com'); define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.annieandco.com'); // Use secure webserver for checkout procedure? define('ENABLE_SSL', 'false'); // NOTE: be sure to leave the trailing '/' at the end of these lines if you make changes! // * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL) // these paths are relative to top of your webspace ... To possibly confuse matters, I did upload the files into the Gallery directory as I initally had the intent of doing a Gallery2/Zen Cart Bridge. (Already have Gallery set up on the web site)

Would appreciate any and all help anyone can give me!!
Thanks.

Re: Please help a zc newbie with install!!

Please now remember to CHANGE your database username and password, and make the appropriate edits to your configure.php files.

Your earlier post contained this confidential information - manna from heaven for hackers!

Thanks for looking out for me schoolboy, I can use all the help I can get!!! I made those up though, they weren't my real username and password.
