imported products and customers edit screens not available

I used File Maker to carefully match the table content of an older OSC store's products, categories, and customers to a fresh install of ZC's table structure and imported via PHP MyAdmin which worked fine. The categories and products appear in the new ZC store, and the customers appear in the admin area.

However, when clicking on a product I get a 404, and in the admin area clicking on edit for a product doesn't work (page not found), and while I can see the customers listed, I can't click on one to see details. After spending many hours getting to this point I don't want to give up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when hovering over the edit button for a product in the admin area the address is this: store/admin/.php?cPath=29&product_type=0&pID=490&action=new_product

I'll get some other hover addresses for my two other failure points.

when hovering over the i (info) button for a customer, the address reads: store/admin/customers.php?page=1&cID=5&page=1

when in the front part of the store hovering over a product to click and get a 404 page, the address it wants to go to is: store/index.php?main_page=_info&cPath=29&products_id=490
