Text above product listing

I would like to have a small paragraph of text appear above the product photos and description of one category of items. I have not been able to find a file that will let me do this.

Any help will be appreciated.

When you create or edit a category, there is a textfield where you can enter its description. You can include images in the description, too - or any other HTML.

Thank you for the response, I did enter the text into that box prior to posting the message. I had only one product in that category and the text did not show.

After your post, I added another product and the text is displayed. It seems that the text will not display with only one product. Not a big deal since there are several products that need to be in that category.

There is a setting in admin > Configuration > Layout Settings > Skip 1-prod categories
which goes straight to the product when there is only one product, to minimize unnecessary clicks. If you want the category description always, you can set that to false.
