Changing Titles on Sidebox additional pages

I know this information is here somewhere, but I can't seem to locate the thread.

See the new conversion site I am working on : KnotnBauble I have had to replace my old cart with a new one because of broken code issues, and am in the process of creating the store in a new directory, so I have done this before way back when but forgot how.

See the left navigation column...

  • Page 2
    • Page 3
    • Page 4
    • BOX_INFORMATION_PAGE_5
    • BOX_INFORMATION_PAGE_6
    • BOX_INFORMATION_PAGE_7

Where do I go to change this? I know it is done in several of the actual pages, but I can't for the life of me recall which ones. Can someone direct me?

Thanks

Re: Changing Titles on Sidebox additional pages

When one gets the caps BOX_INFORMATION_PAGE_5, you have broken code....these are in english.php.....remember to use the override system

Re: Changing Titles on Sidebox additional pages

Kobra - I now have those changed, but where do I go to change the title of the page itself so that when you click on them, it doesn't show up as Page 2 or Page 3 so on and on.

Also, I removed the "Newsletter Unsubscribe" from the Information box on the english.php page, but now it shows up as a broken issue and I wondered where do I go to get that off the page itself?

This is what the right column looks like:

  • Shipping
    • Privacy Notice
    • Conditions of Use
    • Contact Us
    • Site Map
    • Gift Certificate FAQ
    • Discount Coupons
    • BOX_INFORMATION_UNSUBSCRIBE

This is a more dissicult operation and I can only suggest that you grab the aboutus module and see the about eight places that this needs to be changed

Did you leave the pair of single quotes intact? It should be as follows:

define('BOX_INFORMATION_UNSUBSCRIBE', '');

Re: Changing Titles on Sidebox additional pages

Thanks Kobra! Got it all taken care of. In case anyone else has the same issue I am posting what I changed.

You would go to the includes/language/english folder and change all the headers and titles for the Page 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 pages and then just upload them overwriting the files. Then, be smarter than I have been and keep notes in your ZenCart book.

While the eStart your business Zencart book doesn't have some things in it, I would highly recommend purchasing this book for all people learning this program because it has been a life saver many times over and supplies a lot of information that is very valuable to new zenners.

Oh and by the way, no, I wiped out the info:

Did you leave the pair of single quotes intact? It should be as follows:
Code:
define('BOX_INFORMATION_UNSUBSCRIBE', '');

and had to put it back. But there is a space in your admin that instead of doing what I did to remove the statement, you can just select to not have this information display in your information sidebox.
