How do I remove the space between the header and the breadcrumb?

Hi Guys,

I am using Zen Cart 1.3.8a and would like to remove the space between the header and the breadcrumb. I have attached a screenshot of the area. The area has been marked using a red box. Please note that my intension is to remove the breadcrumb and the space it occupies. I have disabled the breadcrumb from Admin but still stuck with the space it occupies.

I need this so that the Categories Sidebox snaps right below the header image so that no space is left.

Most likely it is a snippet of code in tpl_header

Look for <br class="clearBoth" /> and remove it.
