PayPal stopped working in last 24 hours

My site stopped connecting with Paypal sometime in the last 24 hours. I have changed nothing. One person bypassed the problem by using a check, but attempt at a Paypal connection refuses to connect. After checking "Confirm this Order", there is a long wait and ZC goes back to step 2.

When did it start having problems? Worked yesterday, not today.
How does that compare with any changes you made to your site?
and changes your hosting company made to your server?
Have made no changes to the website. Register.com says they made no changes. Is it possible Paypal changed something? Of course, their 'support' organization won't be available until Monday.
Which version of Zen Cart are you using? 1.3.8
Which addons do you have installed? None
What kinds of customizations have you made? None
How many orders does this affect? All
What's different about the orders where this happens vs all the orders that don't encounter the problem? N/A All orders are affected
Please post a zip of all those logs. Never logs anything.

ANY HELP would be appreciated as I'm dead in the water.

Thanks!

Re: PayPal stopped working in last 24 hours

Are you using PayPal IPN versus the PayPal Express module?

I have both. Both were inop. Suddenly late this afternoon everything started working again. I discussed this with the hosting service, and they didn't indicate anything was unusual, so I must conclude that Paypal had something going on. It's now working fine again.

Interesting how this showed up.. I never posted this response..Actually, you did ... it was part of a much larger admonishment to the original poster to post his question in a separate thread because it wasn't part of the original topic to which he had initially posted a reply.
The posts were relocated by a moderator, and yours was edited to remove the "please post somewhere else" part, leaving only the relevant text, exactly as you had first entered it.

Since the post didn't have any indicators that it was edited, it looked VERY strange when it showed up in my post subscriptions..

I thought it (my original post) was more of a suggestion than an admonishment though.. I hope the OP didn't take it that way.. Just thought that he would get more traction on his issue if he created a separate post.. (Sounded pretty serious to be buried in an off topic post)

PayPal has a system status blog where you can review whether they are reporting any known issues related to their services: http://www.paypaldeveloper.com/t5/blogs/blogpage/blog-id/mts_updates
