Page Header Differnet from Breadcrumb/Category name

I am using Zen Cart v1.3.8a/v1.3.8 and is a new installation.

If I am on a main category page, the category name displays in the sidebar under "Categories", in the breadcrumb and also as the page header.

I want to add a little bit more to the page header but I don't want it to affect the sidebar nor the breadcrumb.

How can I do this?

Thanks.

Re: Page Header Differnet from Breadcrumb/Category name

If I understand what you mean by 'page header' that is the category name, so it would be difficult to add to it without affecting the sidebox.

You can have a category image at the top of the product listing - maybe that would be the way to go.

Re: Page Header Differnet from Breadcrumb/Category name

Thanks Steve. That was a good suggestions but it doesn't accomplish what I'm trying to do. What I need is to be able to add a line of text (or image) above the page header and below the breadcrumb on one of my main category pages.

Adding the image as you suggested added it beneath the page header.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Page Header Differnet from Breadcrumb/Category name

Thanks! The second thread had a fix I could use:
http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42567

It allowed me to remove the category page header entirely and then I was able to add it back by editing the content on the category page. By doing it this way I was able to customize the page header. The only drawback I see is that each new category will need to have the page header added manually but that's a minor fix.

Thanks for all of your help.
