Categories box is duplicated in single line under header

There appears to be a line between the header with its logo, and the boxes area, which consists of the product categories. I can't find how to remove that line. I want to keep the categories box only.

Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories-Tabs Menu ON/OFF
