downloads and snail mail

Hi, I am wondering if I can offer a choice of a downloadable pattern and a paper pattern. I have set up all the downloadable ones on my site. and just cant get my head around to offer the choice as a tangeble one. any info would be great at this stage https://www.stitchwith.me

Use attributes for each product re which sort of zipfile you wish to offer per product.
In your case, each product would require 2 attributes..

I have looked all over and cant find an answer to this. I have tried to put two attriutes onto one item. ie I need to have a zip and a send attriute for each item, plus the zip is $5.00 and the send product is $8.00 and I dont know how to configure this also. As per Barco57's site example...you have to create another attribute..Choose an item/delivery method, and apply that
to product,making it default...this will make visitors CHOOSE
which of your offered options they wish to purchase.

If you had configured correctly,
would be getting an option to choose which product attribute, but when visiting product quoted,

Hi, thanks for that. I was able to have customers choose now, but if for some rason that customer chooses one and then goes back and chooses the other way of ordring. It just adds 2 of the same to the order and not one of each. Also how can I get the checkboxes to line up correctly. thanks from newbie

oops . that actually works now with ordering both types of pattern. I just hit the update sort button. Still have to re align the buttons though thanks

Add another attribute that enables purchase of both
download and snail mail together..

You have made 2 Option Names and 1 Option Value for each ...

If you want this to be either a Zip or Snail Mail then make 1 Option Name and 2 Option Types and set as Radiobutton or Dropdown ...

If you want to be safer, add a 3rd Option Value as:
Delivery Method
-- or --
Pick One
-- or --
Select from below

and set to:
Default YES
Sort Order: 0
Display Only: YES

This forces the customer to pick the "right" method for them ...
