Custom links at bottom of categories pages

Is there a way of creating a custom link at the bottom of certain category pages?

For example. If I'm selling a type of stone, I can have on those category pages a link that they can click on to automatically take them to a category that fits that setting.

I would need to be applied to all the pages in that category, so it doesn't matter if they are on page 1 or 100...that link exists at the bottom.

They click on the link...and are now at the settings pages.

At the bottom of those pages for settings, I'd like to have the link be vise versa...they can click on that and it takes them to the different stones that would fit in those settings.

I'm scratching my brain over this: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=120099

And I'm trying to come up with the best possible method.

Help! eek!
