How to make "Company Name" a required field?

Can anyone tell me how to make "Company Name" a required field when a customer is creating their account?

However, you still need to add the "" after the field indicating it is a required field. Here is how I did it:
1- Open includes/languages/yourtemplate/english.php
2- Change the following line:
BEFORE
define('ENTRY_COMPANY_TEXT', '');
AFTER
define('ENTRY_COMPANY_TEXT', '');

That did it for me.

That does "flag" the field to be required ... however, if you do not change the Minimum Value on the Company field it will not be required ...

But both are required, correct? When I set the minimum value, it did not automatically append the "*" to indicate a required field. I thought it would do it automaticaly when I set a minimum value. Since it didn't I added it manually.

Both do need to be done ... 1 from a coding aspect to force the field to be filled in and 1 from a visual aspect to alert the customer that the field is required ... :smile:
