Installing a local copy of my website

Zen Cart 1.3.7.1
Database Patch Level: 1.3.7.1

I would like to set up a local copy of my website. I purchased The manual 'e-Start Your Web Store with Zen Cart' and I have installed Zencart on my local PC and can access the example store without any problems, but I cannot seem to be able to view my downloaded website copy. Any help would be greatly apppreciated.

I cannot seem to be able to view my downloaded website copy.
Did you create database and add to it, database copy of
your downloaded web site?
