Page is blank

I need some help! I was trying to make some changes on the welcome page. I was following the directions in the Tutorials. I created a backup of the file. I was working on the create_account.php page.

All i was trying to do was change some words in the Address Book paragraph on that page. I made text changes only and uploaded it. In testing it I created a new account and when I hit "submit", it goes to this page

index.php?main_page=create_account and it is blank.

I have reinstalled the originally saved file and the same thing occurs.

Any one have any idea of what I might have done??

UPDATE- If I refresh the page it says that email is already on file (like it was trying to resubmit the information). I never see the Create_account_success.php page. This may be the page that is causing issues. I have never touched this file.

After this all the account pages work correctly.

Thanks for sharing that with me. I loaded it and ran it and I now have this cryptic thing to deal with that I do not know what it means. So can anyone translate this for me:smile:

Just yesterday I installed SSL. Could that have anything to do with this?

Did you mod the two configure.php files to properly reflect the new ssl and www.

The fact that you just did an ssl should have been included in your original post per the posting tips.:wink:

Opps... sorry about forgetting to say that I had just installed SSL. I checked that all the changes on the configure.php files were done. They were. I even undid the changes to see if it made any difference and it did not.

So here is all the Posting Tips neglects!

I am running Version 1.3.8
I have Super Order and Easy Populate Mods loaded
I am using Cherry_Zen template
I configured SSL yesterday
For security purposes I changed the folder called ADMIN to something else following all the directions in the tutorials. Since my admin seems to be working I assume it is correct but I will double check that as well.

My site is http://www.automotivetools4less.com/

The issue only occurs when you create a new account. Subsequent visits to log into the account do not produce the blank page.

Lookks like your certificate is for https://www.automotivetools4less.com and your site's configure files are set for automotivetools4less.com.

Try adding the www. to both configs.

I went and added the www to both configure.php file but it did not help.

This is the error I get when I ran that page through the eroor log program and come up with this

Does anyone know what this is saying?

headers already sent is probably not the root of the problem. What do your server error logs have to say about the problem?

I tried two more times just now and I still got the blank page. I checked the server errors and it did not report any errors on this event.

It seems to me that after a successful account creation this page is suppose to displa http://www.automotivetools4less.com/store/index.php?main_page=create_account_success

If I manually plug in that URL I am taken to the page so the page is working fine. It seems that the redirect is broken.

Where do I find the redirect information?
