OK, what have I broke now...

Hi all,

I must have changed something that has made my product listing page screwy.

If you look at this page for new products...http://mydreamweddingdress.co.uk/index.php?main_page=products_new

The left, middle and center column show fine

But on the product listing page...
http://mydreamweddingdress.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_7

The right column is showing beneath everything else on the left!
AARRGGGHHH :frusty:

I have put the product listing page from the original download onto my server to see if it was that page causing the issue, but to no avail.

Can anyone see what is causing the right column to go down the screen like that?

I think I may have broke it when I was starting to try and make this page look like the other listing pages, new listings, featured listings etc but got nowhere, so for now I will settle with it looking like it was to begin with!

Many thanks for any assistance you can give me!

Re: OK, what have I broke now...

Normally the Zen Cart layout table is made up of one row and three adjacent cells, each containing one of the columns.

However, you have changed yours to be three rows. The first contains columns one and two. The second contains a horizontal rule that stretches right across the site and forces the third row which contains the third column down to the bottom.

How you did this can't be seen from the site. Only you can see that from the files on your server.

Re: OK, what have I broke now...

Thanks for your reply. Could you take a guess at which file this will be messed up in?
It is only affecting pages that use the product_listing page, all the others are fine - so all of the different categories.
New listings, featured listings are all fine.

With this is mind I tried replacing the product_listing page but it is still the same, but it must be something to do with product_listing as this is all that is affected. I understand that the page I am replacing is only in fact the middle column. What is the outer page that product_listing is using - I suspect this is the page I need to replace with the original.

Thanks again

Re: OK, what have I broke now...

I can only guess. In your situation I would be concentrating on the files segregated in my template, i.e. those that have changed. And if they're there, I would look first at tpl_tabular_display and tpl_main_page.php from the common folder, and tpl_index_product.php and tpl_modules_product_listing.php from the templates folder.

Re: OK, what have I broke now...

I found it! Issue was in tpl_modules_product_listing in my template folder. This must have been when I was trying to get the product listing page in the same layour format as the new listings and featured listings, this I never managed and gave up on - thought I had returned all my modified pages to how they were... obviously not!

Thanks again
