Product Qty Units: question

Thank you in advance for your time.

For sake of an example, lets say I set Product Qty Units: 2. When the customer sees the item she will see Units: 2. However, if she enters 1, zen cart will display an error because she did not enter 2 as the quantity.

I'd like to know if it's possible to have zen cart automatically calculate a quantity of 2 if the customer entered 1 as the quantity or 10 if the customer entered 5. Instead, it displays an error message, which may seem ambiguous - well to me at least. I would think that if the customer were shown "Units: 2" then the customer would think it was okay and legal to enter units such as 1, 2, 3, etc. knowing the quantities would total 2, 4 and 6 respectively.

If there are 50 potato chips to a bag, I might buy one or two bags knowing I'd have 50 or 100 chips. It wouldn't make much sense to order 50 or 100 individual chips if it's already known that there are 50 chips to a bag, which is analagous to Product Qty Units:50.

Any input on if such a solution exists or not would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
