Buy product B if product A is bought?
Hello
Is it possible to restrict buying product B only if product A is bought?
What my client want is this:
- She sells a candy box (3 different sizes) which have room for 10 (or 20 or 30) pcs of candy. These candies you can buy only if you first have bought the Candy Box. You can pick and choose freely among 50 different candies (e.g 20 pcs of just one sort or 20 different - one of each).
Is this possible and how to do it?
(I have done a test with a Category "Candy Box" and with the products "Box small", "Box medium" and "Box large". These products have a price and a weight. Then I have products Candy A, Candy B and so on - with a price of 0 (zero) and weight 0 (zero). This is a simple solution which could work - if I could restrict Candy A to be bought only if you first have bought the Candy Box.)
But, maybe I should go another way? Like creating one product for each candy and have prices for 10, 20 and 30 pcs. The customer have to keep track of how many they have put in the shopping basket.
Any ideas how to do this?
Regards, Magnus
