Nav bars above and below my banner

Hi guys,

I am in the process of making my store...

The first thing I want to do is to remove the grey link bar from above my banner on all pages. Then I want to make the grey link bar below my banner match the link bar from the rest of my site. Can someone please tell me what I need to modify to do this?

I have downloaded firefox with web dev add on. Its cool, but I dont know how to use the web dev output to find the files I need to modify! Im sure its something I will pick up with practice, but if someone could show me the ropes here it would be really great.

I think you might find the firebug add-on more useful. Add it to firefox, run it, and click on inspect.

Great for finding exactly what drives a site.

You'll see where several wrappers use #9A9A9A as a background color.

Righto thanks, So can I just confirm that these bars are NOT the Ezpages nav bars? Because originally I thought they were, so set Ezpage Nav display to 0 in admin but nothing changed.

You are correct. They are not the EZ Pages nav bars. The top is a nav bar, the one under your logo is the cat tabs bar, and the footer is another nav bar.
