Login not working

I have several people that have an account setup with my store, they have logged in multiple times and made purchases set. All of a sudden login/password is coming up invalid. I tried using the "forgotten password" link and received an new password & that one also did not work. Any ideas on why this is happening & how to fix it??

What error message are they getting? Is it the security when logging in error?

A search of this forum will lead to posts with information on fixing it.

The error is
Error: Sorry, there is no match for that email address and/or password.

Have you checked your customer files in admin?
Are the customers there?

Is there anyway for me to see if the password file is correct? Even when you go to "forgot password" and have a new one sent, the new password doesn't work - you get the same error message
