Cant change main page title or remove header banner

Hi all, absolutly new Zenner here and Im having some trouble finding some answers. Ive been searching the FAQ and posts for a day and a half without much luck

My problems are: The main page nav bar title is Zen Cart!, The art of E-Commerce, instead of my website name Ive searched my english.php files and describe_X_page.php files to no avail
along with many other pages
Also the header banner (was the logo.gif banner) will not remove all banners are disabled, and I managed to remove the gif, link and alt text but the red X box remains (I originally removed it and put it back on with the admin|banner manager)

Im running ZC 1.3.8
I have "darkness" template and "blackbuttons" mods installed
(both DLd from this site)

Im sure these are simple problems but I am stumped if somone could please point me to the correct thread I would appreciate it very much

The template Im using is "nightfall" not "darkness" but I have them both uploaded

Answers-
to change browser tab from {Zen Cart!, the Art of E-Commerce}
change meta_tags.php lines 10-15 or so title and tag line to whatever you want it to say

To remove logo.gif banner from header/top add
#logo {display: none;} to
catalog//templates//"your template"//CSS//stylesheet.css
