Help needed with Featured Products showing on category page?

Please Help?

I cannot figure out how to remove featured products from the category pages. I want the featured products only on the main page, but not when you select a category.

I only want featured products on my main page, not when I click a category for them to show before any products??

Many thanks for your assistance, but when I turn off (Show Featured Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories) to zero the featured products come off my main page too? my settings are as follows:

You will see the Featured Products on the Main Page (home page) ...

Set the other three to 0 and the Featured Products will not show in other places when navigating the Categories ...

and if you look the main page is still unable to get the featured products on it with the settings below, I have tried setting above 1 too and this also failed? also tried with new products ansd they would not activate..

If I put the value of this to 1 (Show Featured Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories 0 ) they show but still have the original problem with featuered showing up on category pages?

Looks to me as though you are using a commercial template that has over-ridden (aka thrown away) this basic Zen Cart feature. From whom did you buy it?

Is this usual.... Will I have to ask for their assistance?
