Blank sidebox has extra space in IE

Learning as I go,

I have setup 'blank sidebox'. It works great, The box contains a menu and again works as intended in FF. But IE has added about a 10px gap on the lefthand side of each menu item. :frusty:

I have attached a couple of images as my site is only on pc at present, showing my problem

Also this is the CSS that controls it, (as far as I can see)

.sideBoxContent LI A{
width:200px;
display: block;
padding-left:10px;
padding-top:3px;
padding-bottom:3px;
padding-right:10px;
text-decoration: none;
overflow:hidden;
text-align: left;
border-bottom: 1px solid #000;
background-color:#292929;
}

Any thoughts as to why IE treats this different to FF would appreciated
