Getting my attributes to display above the ' add to cart'

Hi,

I Have spent all day figuring out how to enter attibutes into my product listings, once they are inserted they are not at all aligned and all over the place on the product page? Ideally I would like to have them nicely in order to the left above the 'add to cart'

At the moment it look like this... :shocking:

http://michaeljacksoncelebrityclothing.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=32:3cb3d9ed0e045540bc033472b60ab547

Please could some one give me simple instruction or if there is a suitable thread where this has already been explained, supply a link?

I am using the new zencart v1.3.8

Many thanks

Re: Getting my attributes to display above the ' add to cart'

You will need to edit /includes/templates/your_template/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php. All sections are clearly marked with <!--bof xxxx--> and <!--eof xxxx--> comments. Move the code block that contains the attributes to above the add to cart block.

Once this is done, you will see an improvement of the attribute layout; to get all of the input boxes to line up, add to your stylesheet

h4.optionName {width: 10em;}

Adjust this as required.

Excellent, Many thanks,

Please let me know in the style sheet where to add h4.optionName {width: 10em;} ?

I have tried adding it in all different types of places but it just causes this text to show up on the product page..

Your help is very much appreciated

Re: Getting my attributes to display above the ' add to cart'

Text added to a stylesheet will never show up verbatim on a web page. What file exactly did you add this to?

You can add it anywhere (outside other rules or comments) in /includes/templates/your_template/css/stylesheet.css.

Many thanks for your reply,

I added the code you gave me h4.optionName {width: 10em;} to the page

/includes/templates/your_template/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php

I was not sure where to paste it so tried it in different places but with no luck?

My attributes are not aligned which can view at:

Many thanks again for your help'

Re: Getting my attributes to display above the ' add to cart'

I see you have your attributes moved correctly.

As I said, you do not add the h4.optionName to the PHP file, you add it to your stylesheet.css.
